Poem -

The sea

Subtle 'n' slow, and gentle with grace,
   They dance to 'n' from the shores embrace;
Waters, deep blue, touch shores of the soul:
Its darkest corners, as black as coal.
Melody of a slow rise and fall...
        Soothing songs that gently call...
Waves that slowly come calling, calling...
Into its blue depths to go falling, falling...

The vast expanse of fluid beauty
        Ignited within a renewed piety

Then gone were the waters that slowly beckoned,
For In a while, the skies were darkened
Came in its place the fiery tempest,
Heaven and Sea at a deadly Contest
It raged n roared n screeched n screamed
Like a beast unchained, awake, untamed
Watery walls that none could brave
Seeking to pull to a watery grave

                    So unfathomable the mysterious sea,
Her rage was fierce, dark like misery

Then  did it conjure a thundering form
Into mighty Unstoppable, gathering storm
Heavens struck down with a Lightening bolt
To the depths, it was felt, a terrible jolt
Watery rage that refused to be consoled
Wrath of God unleashed 'n' uncontrolled

And for a time long, it went on n on
Until there was calm, like a new day born

World came to an ominous still
Natures fury has had its fill

Then on it danced with pure glee
    So unfathomable the mysterious sea
