Poem -

Seasons

Close your eyes.
Inhale deeply through your mouth.
Pause.
Feel the air circulating in your lungs.
Exhale.
How did it feel?
Did you feel the refreshing spring air awaken you?
Did you feel the winter air biting?
Did you feel the summer air taking your breath away?
Did you feel the fall air sooth your summer dried lungs?
Pause.
Love is a lot like seasons.
It can be as new and bright as spring.
It can be as depressing and lonely as a gray winter morning.
It can be as hot, passionate, and exciting as summer.
Or it can be slowly falling and dying like leaves in autumn.
And each type of love affects your insides.
Just like the air in your lungs.
