Seasons Of Change

Seasons Of Change

A harvest moon linger in the night sky.
Abundant is its offering,
As the equinox be upon us.

The crisp winds rustle,
Shedding trees of their weight,
That bear in excess upon them;

Autumn approaches,
As leaves, dressed in colors bold,
Gently cover the ground;
Dancing, in the breeze.

It’s beauty, briefly bearing
A sadness—
Be a blessing unto us.

The sun, soon graces the horizon,
Reassuring nature
Of the coming season.

For death and decay,
Be a surrounding;
Giving time for change,
Maturity, and growth.
