Seasons of Our Time

Seasons of Our Time

Morning fog caressing the neon light above me

Dark and dank is the impression of gloom and the feeling that surrounds me

I hate these winter mornings, makes me feel so glum

Cant wait for the crisp spring mornings,so life can get off its bum

You feel more get up and go with a little dew on the grass

Cos the sadness of winter can certainly kiss my ass

Then soon after we'll have our summer, hopefully a hottie

But for some poor souls with itchy eyes and their noses a little snotty

Hope the summers a long one with plenty of fun and barbies

We will have our wines and beers and the kids can have their Smarties

Soon approaches Autumn,a cascade of shade and colour

A season of the calendar with a display like no other

I don't mind our time of Autumn even though sometimes a little cold

A little longer on our planet so one day we may grow old
