Second Life

You touched my soul
Kissed my heart
Soothed my body
Quelled my fears

Shared yourself
Warm and naked
Soft and angry
Smiles and tears

Held my hand
Walked beside me
Brought me tea
in our bed

I will love you
forever
But our future
Seems dead
For I married another
And to her I am wed
