Secrets

Secrets

Why do we tell our secrets,

our deepest desires?

How is it still a secret

once it's left us.

My secrets stay with me

I tell no soul,

so I will always have secrets

never been told.

We get mad at people for telling,

but it was no longer silent.

We told one person

and now the world knows,

so why tell anyone

and let it be untold.

People say I have trust issues

for not telling anyone.

I want my secrets to stay that

a secret.
