Poem -

Seed Planted in the Sand

Sometimes a seed is planted
That just quietly grows
Through the fiber of your being
In ways that no one knows.
\Ever there, it thrives then fails
Lies dormant, then bursts forth
Renewed again, in hope sustained
Unawareness, clouding up its source.
\Watered by memories long thought lost
Structured to ever prevail
Sustaining flowers in rare moments come
To bless you on the trail.
\You planted that seed when you showed you cared
One day when we walked on the sand.
You cautioned me when we came to the jetty
You smiled and you took my hand.
\I send to you the flowers blooming now
Within my soul - watered by tears
May the petals ever line your path
For the way you quieted my fears.
