Seeking

inwardly
seeking
eternity

where
the expanse
of  this
last dance
crosses all
boundaries

this has
led to
an awakening

and I know
I am not alone...

prone to growth
in light
of what's shown

the soul
is exposed

where each
layer
proving
the nature
of what it
means
to constantly
fight against
failure

have we
found favor
in the eyes
of a universe
that has
kept us
under the thumb
of it's inescapable
curse?

yet we preserve

and push through
the night's long
and darkened reach

where
within each
resides deep
our own key
to eternity
