I gaze at the stars,
Hoping for a sign,
Of who I am,
Deep down inside.

In the depths of my heart,
I feel a stir,
A longing.
A flutter in my chest,
An ache in my soul,
As I grapple with feelings hard to control.

Am I the girl my parents raised?
Or is there more to this life I've made?

The lines are blurred,
And labels seem vague,
But I know one thing for sure,
I'm not the same.

As I delve deeper,
I find truth within,
And embrace the woman I am becoming.

My heart races,
Palms sweat,
Butterflies take flight,
As I step out of the shadows,
Into the light.

I own my identity,
Proud and tall,
A femme queen,
Ready to rule them all.
