Self-inflicted murder

Self-inflicted murder

Procrastinating perseverance of a vigorous disease
The lion lies bound as the owner grieves
Tolerating the passion of a broken smile
Brought forth though a desolate and dried vial
A crippling compassion of party guests
Prancing about as your conscious body rests
The self-inflicted murder provides a show
An unknown view of a faded glow
The power the point once brought to your vein
Concretes your heart, drops your body slain
Family devastation
Caused by this rhetorical equation
Poses the question of rest
The end decided with your final test
Why were you brought here?
Why were you chose?
An addict’s life of depression
Decimated through a straw filled nose
Heaven or Hell?
Pleasure or Pain?
Do you decide while alive?
Can you complain?
Life brings choices harder than yes and no.
What you do with it
Determines where you’ll go.
