Poem -

Self Love.

I care...

Self Love.

Look, look at yourself,
What do you think,
when you’re talking trash about yourself?
You check your,
Arms,
Neck,
Chest,
Thighs,
You suck it in and pinch your sides,
And you know you’re not fine.

But this is not the truth,
You are loved,
I love you,
I want you to know it’s true,
Just,
Look at yourself,
You should see,
Someone who is your best self,
You should feel free,
You know you can be yourself.

We love you,
We appreciate you,
But the thoughts creep in,

You don’t need to think this,
But you still do this,
Why do you want this?!
You were beautiful before this and still during this!

Dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun….

You can reach out,
And call help,
Can you let me in?
And let me help…

You can reach out,
And call for help,
Can you let me in?
And let me help…

Thankfully now,
You’ve reached out,
And you’ve called for help,
You’ve let me in,
You’ve let me help…

You now look in the mirror,
And now you see,
Someone who’s better,
Someone’s who’s pretty...
We love you,
And you love yourself….
