Self love ignited

Self love ignited

From out of the fire a woman rose,
Graceful steps on tippy-toes.
Gorgeous smile and button nose,
She took her stance in warrior pose.

The crowd shouted in hateful tones,
When from the fire she drew a throne.
Their sticks and stones did not break her bones,
For she did not need their love; she had her own.
