Sell my soul to the devil himself

I made a deal with him
to unleash the pain that lingers within.
he told me i have the key potential,
to free me from earth that is hell,
so the deal im about to describe to you is a deal with the devil himself.

for days and months he waited
for he new soon enough he would gain
he watched as he sat in silence 
he thrived  off the grief and pain.

He new i would call upon him, 
hr craved for the guidance i need.
a signed and sealed deal with a mortal,
to be dragged to the gates of flames.

he saw it all before me
the anger, the torture and regret.
It was then he promised to help me learn, to heal..but never to forget.

who would turn down an offer 
for he new i was certain to agree
little he had to convince me
To join his palace for all eternity.

Discovering hope i grabbed his hand
and prayed to seek immortality.
i said 'grant me this wish for u will not regret, im ready for u to take me...so please help my soul lay to rest.'

and as i took a step into hell something blocked the entry gates.
a strange spirit appeared and said to me, ....'dear girl.. im god..and ive not finished with u yet! So hell will have to wait !'
