Separated Hearts
One day we'll see each other,
You and I,
Meeting again to embrace,
Somewhere in time.
Not far away,
Praying this is true,
Some day up in heaven,
Love to consume.
Never here on Earth,
Unless God uniting,
Always possible in future,
Yet not defining.
Until that time,
Memories of you remain,
Always in heart,
Forever to gain.
