Serenity

Lulling skiff lazes past,
Blissful notions cast.
Waters babbling rush,
Yearnings for woes hush.

On thyme river lethargic creep,
Tepid ripples run deep.
Nocturne intone ambles by,
Wolves croon baleful cry.

Currents boast to stoic stone,
Seafaring incessant drone.
Willows bow, to overhear,
Gracious for nuance near.

Silence is golden, methinks,
Rumors tether bayou drinks.
Prisms glim on genial ford,
Secretive poised discord

Cottony billows afar,
Capture falling star.
Menagerie of wishes
Embodied by starfishes

Grass betwixt Rosemary lips,
 Aurora kaleidoscopic ellipse.
Rustic helter-skelter afloat,
Chirpy crickets off-keyed note.

Fireflies synchronized harmony,
Sleepy chuckles for reverie.
Frogs croak baritone creaks,
Tranquil dew-kissed cheeks

Star freckled, moon hung high,
 Harvest orb in midnight sky.
Sage cadence lambent beams,
Ambrosia bids sweet dreams.
