Series of LIFE mistakes

You see,
because in reality I am not okay.
I’m hurt and in pain
and wishing death on everything
that comes my way.

Number is but a scale
you’re standing on
and I’ve just reached
another low.           

Camera turns to me,
now it’s my turn.

Eyes shining,
mouth smiling,
everything’s moving
and I’m standing still.

I’m being forgotten,
unheard,
left behind,
not even noticed.

I’m slipping from minds,
no longer in memory,
no longer in sight.

I’m slowly fading,
going into forgotten
nobody can hear me
nobody cares.

I’m being left behind
and nobody even noticed.

I’m aging
there’s no denying.
I’m getting older
and slowly dying.

I can feel life slipping away
I don’t know if I want to stay
stopping the change,
stopping the wave.

Opportunities lowering,
my chances are almost gone
soo young and soo blind
living the life.
