Shadow

In the kingdom of shadows I lay awake,
a haunting place to be an abyss of decay,
as if in an instant, a brush upon my face,
cold yet warm still tingles take place.

Freezing with horror, hands clutch with fear,
What can this be that I'm feeling so near?
My heart starts to tremble, insanity takes place,
as I look up, no blink to see clear
as what follows the master stands here.

A shadow in shadows a deathly embrace,
a calmness takes over as he touches my face,
fear drained through veins with no focused delay,
whispers enter, clouding the brain
in the moment as my pupils dilate.

Energy collides, vibrating denial
closing my eyes hazing a smile
reality struck with a shadowing lust,
shifting lands time left to take.
