Shadow Dance

this is 99% true .. and although I dont have any tattoo's, I do have a single discreet piercing ..

Even though clearly we
don’t have
enough ink between
the two of us ..
Can you imagine for
a moment
the dance our tattoo’s
might have made,
as we make love with
the sun pinned
to the turquoise sky,
somewhere behind us ..
And can you,
envisage, the dark
of our silhouette’s ..
As they cast freely their
individual shadows
and every single one
of them, is laughing out loud ..

My wife and I have tattoo's,  if they were to dance, Jack and Sally would be moshing out to slipknot. 😎

Maybe something, some moment that could, should, would have happened in a different life or pathway or circumstance...
alas, the ink runs dry as time runs off... away to die...Great write x
