Poem -

Shadows in the Mist 2

The wind howls in the
darkness of the night
As the thunder roars and
the lighting flashes
Time is ticking as the trees
sway in the moon lit night
The flashes shows a
shadow hidden in the night

The pale dark figure stares
at the blood red moon
The stars glisten in the
dark velvet sky
As the figure lurks in the
dead silence of the night
He wears a black robe that
hides the hour glass

In his hand he holds
A dull blade
A blade that has fresh
blood that slowly drips
Leaving a small trail of
Scarlett droppings
In the air you can smell
death all around you

When you stare into
his dark black eyes
You can see the flames
of hell as you stare
You try to look away but
death has you in a trance
You see the blood drip from
The evil wicked smile

He has  come to claim his
prize long past due
As the last grain of sand
fell to the bottom
He raised the blade high
above his head
And plunged the blade
deep into your heart
