Shadows of my mind

Shadows of my mind

Ever spinning ever turning
whirling silently in space
like my thoughts forever yearning
to see once more your face.
thoughts that jingle in my pocket
and jangle in my head
why did the time spin by so quickly
was it something that i said?
I was spinning like the windmill
when you said you did not care
Doesnt anybody notice
that summers no longer there
and all the leaves are turning
to the color of your hair.
the windmills ever turning
passing by all seasons time
and I hear Ā their great
wings whirring.Ā
In the shadows of my mind.
