Shadows of the Night

In the beginning God created man 
It was so easy with the wave of his hand 
We try our best to be like him 
But it's so hard in this world of sin 
He gave us life with his breath 
But still its easy to become possessed 
By the demon of darkness with no remorse 
He'll corrupt your body until it's a corpse 
Then when your dead, your soul in hell 
Unlike prison it's a firey cell 
You'll never escape the pain you feel 
You'll wish you knew God before you were killed 
His presence so gracefull none alike 
When you're with him you'll feel alright 
He takes away pain to give you life 
Just remember who lurks in the shadows of the night.
