Poem -

shall you reap

shall you reap

Don't look at the moon for an answer
It shall stare back at you with a blank face,
Know that justice shall one day beat cancer;
Looking upwards to this fragile place
?
Don't look up at the moon for hope
You will be deceived, left forlorn
As two lovers rejected must now elope
Amidst these stars;  life shall be re-born
?
Great leaders come forward bringing strength
Despots and tyrants like a virus spread
The rule of law must not be bent
For those who seek to deceive bringing forth the dead
?
Don't look up at the moon for answers
It shall not be your friend; do not weep
Recall the teachings of the great philosophers;
As you sow in these bloody days shall you reap
