She

She will awake with a heavy feeling

Constantly looking away from herself

Everyday she deals with her own beating

Her thoughts are screaming she prays for her health

All alone she wonders how  can this be

Her mind flutters to when she was a kid

Now she's being pulled by waves at sea

Her thoughts she be locked away with a lid

Each day she seems to handle with care

She feels like it's snowing in September

Her delicate fingers grab at her hair

This day she will not have to remember

For each breath she takes she feels more alive

Each gently touch makes her value more life
