Poem -

she did

she did

she fell into this hell
the way one begins to hate
quickly, fiery
and with no easy end

she found no love
she found no help

it was hot like a desert
but cold in her heart

her hair was long
black as the night

flowers grew when she was young
but not anymore
she was still young
but no longer allowed to be a child

she never deserved this
no one did
but she was less worthy
of this torture
