She felt so alive 💙

She felt so alive 💙

She strolled along the silky sand,  picking a seashell in her hand

But when she held it to her ear she couldn’t quite understand

How an earth she heard the sea when she was standing on the land

Her little feet ran down as fast as she could, to the salty sea

Laughing and giggling with Oh such a gratifying glee

Watching the scavenging Seagull swoop and scoop, Oh how she loved to feel so free

The sun shone high in the sky, amidst her canopy of cobalt blue 

As the hazy horizon beckoned her, that was a bright bleary hue

She felt so alive and so amazingly anew

With such a sheer sensational, shiny seaside view…
