She is the Night
 
The night she holds me in her cool embrace
She makes all my problems easier to face
 
Her starlight soothes my tired eyes
She brings me sleep till I see sunrise
 
My single candlelight pierces’ her endless black veil
My dreams are like ships on the sea waiting to sail
 
She is the moon and the stars in the night
She opens the door to the dawning light
 
Her night’s breeze softly caresses my skin
Bringing fourth all her beauty from within
 
The night she is my angel in stormy skies
I watch her spread her dark wings and fly
 
She is the bringer of my dreams nocturnal
Her endless wisdom is everlasting and eternal
 
Her love encompasses my tender beating heart
Like the sun and moon never want her to part
 
The night she breathes new life into me
She is the waves upon the restless sea
 
Her loving heart is a true beacon of light
She keeps my heart safe till I see the daylight
 
I blow a kiss to the sky before falling asleep
My promises to the night I intend to keep
 
Her spirit reigns down from the starlit heavens above
For she is beauty and I am surrounded by her love
