Poem -

She is a privilege not a right!

Her eyes are her window,
onto the world that she sees
and shell see it how she wants to,
you cant control these things.

Her mouth is an instrument,
she sings her own songs.
A beat stuck in her head
or her own rights and wrongs.

Permanently beside her,
are her growing arms.
She has the freedom to reach,
ambitiously far!

Her hands are her own,
they’ll grasp what she sees.
Don’t take away,
the things that she needs.

Her legs are beneath her,
always holding her weight.
They take her on journeys,
and run from mistakes.

Her feet are her tracks,
she leaves where she's been.
So she doesn't retrace,
or suffer within.

Heart beats for her,
without any assistance
and it will do so,
for her entire existence.

Although she's perfectly made from love,
she's not an item in your possession.
She's a person you merely gave life to,
from here, its her own lesson.

She is capable of choice,
she eats, drinks, laughs and sleeps.
She appreciates the world,
‘cause she's naïve and its still so sweet.

But you're holding her down,
by letting her grow,
in a world where you own her,
and she's yours to show.

You're dragging her along.
by her own little hand,
through all of your problems,
shell never understand.

Her personality is hers,
it is not yours to create.
You should love her regardless
and whatever choices she makes!

So if you are so blind,
as to get in your head,
that your one night of fun,
gave you a doll to pretend.

Then forget everything!
You are inhumane!
That little girl is a gift!
Not your dog to train!

You're gonna raise her in court,
where she gets to see,
that daddy cant support her,
but he can hurt mummy.

She's not oblivious,
her little heart knows,
that’s things arn't always easy,
but trying your best shows.

and she will get by,
no matter what happens to you.
Because her arms, her heart and legs,
will carry her through!
