She remembers

Please understand shes damaged
crushed and hurt
Just know shes fighting but she can
Only sleep in his shirt
No one understands and she feels like such a fool
Shes trying to understand how the man she loves became so cruel
She begs god every night to just stop the pain
And also she prays that the tears wont drive her insane
She's ashamed to still  feel so much love
and shes reminded how she was abandoned when push came to shove
how did this happen how did it all go wrong
Shes weak from the heartache and cant remember how to be strong
somebody help me she begs but shes all alone
And suddenly she realizes her heart no longer has a home
