Sweet moments

I lay my aging body
next to her young one. 

Her face warm and soft
under my loving lips. 

Tangled curls give way
to my gentle caress. 

​​​​​A sweet breath strokes
my eager cheek. 

She twitches once 
and drifts off. 

I linger a moment, 
sharing her peace
