She'll Learn As She Goes

Like 1 Pin it 1An older soul
With a baby's face.
She's wreaking havoc
And a saving grace.
A tragic miracle
Of innocence misled.
Pushed into a world
She had no business in.
Swapping out her dreams
To be the perfect wife.
Never had she imagined
This would be her life.
Expected to understand
What she had never learned.
Forced into the flame
Yet not allowed to burn.
A see through mask
And a scar tissued soul
Are all she has left
Of what was once whole.
Holding back her tears
She squares up her shoulders
The pain grows within
As she gets older.
Living for others
While she dies inside.
Where is the joy
That goes with the pride?
So day after day
She gives more than she owes
Doing it her way,
She'll learn as she goes....
