Poem -

She's Done

There she was finding herself staring in the mirror,
wiping away the tears from her mascara stained face.
Questioning her worth, her thoughts, her love once again,
her heart was in a broken ,painful place.

Remembering how she picked up the pieces the first time,
starting over ,giving you another chance.
You stared in her eyes with "sorry ,never again "
but it did, there were lies in that apologetic glance.

Remembering you tore her down when she gave it another try,
trying to forget the wounds on her heart fromĀ  inflicted pain.Ā
You played the victim of your own doing, blaming your pastĀ
but those hollow words " I'm sorry ",came once again.

Remembering how she built you up,thinking this was the change ,
you played the part nicely ,but not for too long .
Toxic words ,false victim role, narcissism showed,
she's had enough of your bullshit , your chances gone.Ā

She looked in the mirror and wiped her mascara stained face,
caught her breath, got her bags , fled fast and unseen.
Looking in a mirror again but in her car as she drove away,
she said "you're worth more ,you deserve more ,head up Queen ".
