Shirley Ann

Shirley Ann

This February you would have turned 83

When you left us October 07 it has felt like an eternity

Ten years have gone by since you left this place, nothing can ever feel my empty space

If I had only one wish to make it would be to have just one more day that wasn't blue

I understand that you were tired and lived your life, as you watched your daughters take husband's and your son's take wives

You watched your grandchildren grow up to have families of their own and so on, I still can't believe your gone

I miss you more with every passing day, as long as you are my sunshine I will never have a cloudy day
