Short stories

The chapter was over
But I was unable to let the story finish
I could not see that only sometimes characters stay for a short while
Sometimes they stay for a life time
In this story I expected you would be a forever character
I could not accept the lesson
I would be left afraid
Bound by fear I tried to write a chapter in the book myself
This never works
Between control and freedom, the fight is relentless
I wrote a story
I had no idea what way it was going to go
Yet I clung
And after clinging till my fingers bled
I let go
And amazingly with me having nothing to do with it
My new chapter began
