Shoulders

Wading through the masses
Seeking shelter for all that passes
Rocks that brace in sad hours
Comforters like mighty towers

Beacons amid folly
Who turn tears jolly
And make fears behave
Who don't speak of what they gave

Rest from crises
Not withstanding the vices
Normal people with vision
Wardens who free from prison

Silent strength
Mocking times length
Who never mind the fuss
Nor what we discuss

Ears without mouths
Eyes with no regard for months
Arms that meet and greet
Steady legs with sure feet

Pure and true
A friend who knew
My person and privilege
And not give in to the image

Shoulders
Like bold boulders
My nest for tears
A treasure chest for cares
