Shreds of threads 🥲

Shreds of threads 🥲

She tries to hide her thoughts to the corner of her mind

But there are stubborn shreds of threads that lurk unkind

Thru the wee small hours her brain is blinking

With mindless matters that keep her thinking..

These shreds of threads are twisted in a knot

Muddling her memories all to pot..

Those nighttime nasties that wax and wane

Driving one demented with an energy drain

“Go away shreds of threads, let me sleep

And I shall drift off amidst a dreamland’s leap”
