Side Track
Maths?
Not my cup of tea.
Looking around for help,
But everyone is struggling too.
Then I hear it—
New Wine by Hillsong on YouTube,
Jesus, I hear.
I came here with nothing,
But a heart full of hatred.
Make me Your vessel,
Make me Your offering.
The lyrics, powerful and divine,
Stir something deep within.
I added a few thoughts of my own
Just for this short poem.
For God so loved the world,
That He gave His only Son.
His name was Jesus Christ,
By His endless grace and love, He protected us.
I get sidetracked with schoolwork at times—
Just like now, for example—
But it’s worth it.
My ears, heart, body, and mind are calm
When I hear loving songs like this.

I had to type this down! Or else i'll forget about it. Only at school I get to be very weird and creative?? Feeling of a new poem comes on its own and I just don't know why my hands would always move on its own. Like someone else is doing the thinking and writing as well. Sometimes it doesn't make any sense but whatever! :) Hope ya'll enjoy it..Â
