Sidewalk

Sidewalk

Sidewalk
I thought I knew what I was doing ...
Most of all... I thought I knew ..where I was going.
I saw smiles... And faces of laughter ...
Many waved hello ... And I'd stop and shake hands with the smile.... I'd stop and shake hands with the laugh..
They always seemed to draw me in.
I thought I was a peacemaker ... A humanitarian ..
I expected the same in return when I walked the path..
Confiding in the unknown .. Or the temporary feeling of comfort ... But didn't realize ,That snakes are the most abundant species on this earth ...
I ignored the heavy breathing from the constriction of those around me...
Atmospheric anxiety ... I ignored all the signs of what life truly is.
It's unpredictable , unprecedented ...
My level of love... Always blinds me...
Lesson Learned by walking .....
