SIGN OF THE TIMES
It's just another sign of the times
When everyone wants apples we only get limes
Everyone thinks of only me me me
They forget the environment the land and the sea
It's just another sign of the times
People buried in freezers and other hideous crimes
All greed, power and what do I get
The old and homeless are ones we neglect
It's just another sign of the times
A good excuse to write another one of my rhymes
Will things change in my lifetime I'm not so sure
The sign of the times happens behind every closed door
