The Silence
Tell me you love me
Tell me you hate me
Tell me anything you want
Cause I can't take this silence
The silence worries me
It's never this quiet
There's usually laughter or any type of noise
But there's just this silence
Have I done something wrong?
Have I caused this silence?
The silence gets into my skin
The silence is killing me
Tell me you love me

This is powerful and expresses what most people would have experienced in life from someone they love at one time or another. Silence is a great way for someone to manipilate you, make you wait it out and push you to talk first and ask "what are you thinking?" - Mmmm go for a walk away from the silence and find someone who wants talk.Â

this is my vice when I'm annoyed i go silent i'm trying to break the habit but think it stems from many moons ago when in an abusive relationship needed to then but now now interesting write which hit home with me much enjoyed x
