Silence Kindles Power

For Matthew and Cherie

Silence Kindles Power

I spoke
A word

I created
my reality

Spirit in
The Sky

Has made
authors
to his
image

I am the
clouds

I reign above

Humility
administered

long ago

confidence
restored

A steak dinner
turned into
left
overs

leaving a jester
to wallow
in folly

Emptied
His
Flask
Thinking
He got
Something
For
Nothing

Spirits
Though
Sour
To
A
Contempt
Vessel

A King's Feast
served away
from the
Kitchen
became
a
token
from the
accountant's
heart

Makes a Maiden
feel like
a
lady

Peace
conquers
evil's
intent

No real
Anger
To
The
Fool
On
A
Hillbillies
Mountain

Just sadness
To
What.could
Have
Been
as
The
Socrates
of the world
Are
Often
Made
From
Rough
Edges

Nevertheless
An Old Soldier
can be
seen
in
a
distance
marking
his
territories
and
Kingdoms
to come
For
Failure
is
no
longer
on
The
lips

Creation
of Bliss
has
the Upper Hand

My Ring
holds
the
crescent
of
my
master

Destiny
smells
of Gold....

Being Me

I too wish Cherie and Matthew all the best. I think this is a very fine write, Greg.

I love this line:

Destiny smells of gold
