Silent Desires

I pray that you, my love, would take a moment to read this word
So that what my lips cannot form may somehow be heard
Because my heart speaks a language all it's own
Coded in rhythm is it's message made fully known
For sleep never comes to the soul that searches for you
When each thought is filled with giving of beauty's due
How if my hands could fashion some great and lasting art
T'would be nothing more than the manifestation of my heart
And all throughout the up and coming ages
Would humanity get a glimpse of this soul borne upon pages.
