~Silent Scream~

Shame, and guilt poured out of every pore of her being 

And she felt trapped inside 

She saw the agony on her face 

I know what it's like to look

for love 

In all the wrong places 

Anything for security 

Anything for comfort 

I clearly know all to well what it's like 

To feel desperate for hope in the night 

I live nighttimes over of my life 

It is said that there's a way that seems right 

But in the end it always leads to death

Despair does not always 

Rise out of severe want

But rather is the product of the disconnectedness 

And loss of direction that comes soulless 

Seek meaning out of meaningless 

Worth out of life that felt worthless 

To seek a safety that says we are protected 

A vision that tells us we are loved, guided, and blessed 

Seek a world where good people which we become 

Have good things happen 

And bad people are tossed aside to be destroyed 

A world where we will never have to return to our lives we led

Wonder if it might be better to end our lives 

And never be tempted by the dark impulses 

To forever crush our personal madness.
