SITTING IN THE PARK

I am sitting in the parkÂ
Reading my paper llisteing
To a lark and i hear a dog bark
Sitting in the park amongÂ
The trees and the flowersÂ
A gentle breeze comes up
A little shower comes up
To help the flowers grow
And as i watch a crow fly
By and the little squirrel eatting
There acorns in the sun andÂ
The sounds of little children running Â
around having funÂ
Sitting in the park watching
People walk by and listen toÂ
The clock strike noon andÂ
Some one on bike rides byÂ
And i like this day as i prayÂ
To the world and would love to
Stay in the park i may haveÂ
Some tea as i sit under thisÂ
Tree in the park and now it
Is three and must go andÂ
Theres aways another dayÂ
To sit in the park i sayÂ
Goodbye and i may beÂ
Back to sit in the parkÂ

Thanks for sharing
Thank you for reading Edwin
Greg you are so right and write it how it is.
And write splendidly and honestly from your heart.
A park and its bench is a little piece of heaven and calm.
To admire the view and feed the wildlife and feel comfortable.
You have captured all this and more wrapped up in your poem of relaxation and peace.
Thank you for sharing and writing your uplifting poem.
