SITTING IN THE PARK

SITTING IN THE PARK

I am sitting in the parkĀ
Reading my paper llisteing
To a lark and i hear a dog bark
Sitting in the park amongĀ
The trees and the flowersĀ
A gentle breezeĀ  comes up
A little shower comes up
To help the flowers grow
And as i watch a crow fly
By and theĀ  little squirrel eatting
There acorns in theĀ  sun andĀ
The sounds of little children runningĀ Ā
around having funĀ

Sitting in the park watching
People walk by and listen toĀ
The clock strike noon andĀ
Some one on bike rides byĀ
And i like this day as i prayĀ
To the world and would love to
Stay in the park i may haveĀ
Some tea as i sit under thisĀ
Tree in the park and now it
Is three and must goĀ  andĀ
Theres aways another dayĀ
To sit in the park i sayĀ
Goodbye and i may beĀ
Back to sit in the parkĀ
Ā

Greg you are so right and write it how it is.
And write splendidly and honestly from your heart.
A park and its bench is a little piece of heaven and calm.
To admire the view and feed the wildlife and feel comfortable.
You have captured all this and more wrapped up in your poem of relaxation and peace.
Thank you for sharing and writing your uplifting poem.
