Skipping The Slant
The lynch them first
ask questions later
flash mob
of micro public opinion
are polluting the stream
of social media consciousness again
with their unrelenting riled up ferocity
Quickly jumping to conclusions
that conveniently fit
an agenda ridden narrative
Their numbers swell rapidly
as hatred reposts virally
getting reported internationally
as contrived speculations
eventually mutate
into perceived fact
Til the value of truth itself
is reduced to a disposable commodity
Sold to the pliable masses
as fast cooked
easily digested
blended reality

I totally agree like your picture
portrays a pack of baying wolves hungry
with hatred... social media has a lot
to answer for.. for trouble caused
with information added on and on
until there is no truth at all

Loved this one honey, it`s well written and well thought out. It says so much truth about what we are all fed through the media. Why can`t they concentrate on all the good that happens in the world? All they do is push all the bad onto us. They certainly do have a lot to answer for. Well done for this one sweetie.

Never forget, the media business gravitate where it feels it can maximize profits. Right or wrong, they currently feel that negativity sells more than positive news... I do so agree with you this needs to be reversed somehow and the focus shifted to the overwhelming majority of good peeps out and about in the world(like yourself)
