Sky Finger

I must have guessed five signs; and Aries landed a smile. We
Shared an Ariel plum. Her portrait, Victorian: her mind,
Capricorn. We measured words, and spoke in prose. Soon the
Sun would set; and we would grip the skyline. The ocean, so
Aqua: the sand, so beige. Her scarf, exotic grape: her heart, a
Triple beat. A scented lotion, waft the air: a thought of love.
She spoke of value and Greek poets. Every turn—philosophic;
And deep the burn—a spirit blue. I touched her finger, and
Stared her eyes: such a coquettish smile; and so green—a
Sandy bird. It chirped restlessly: she fed it crumbs. The moon
Was romance; and we painted art. So esoteric—her charm; and
So seductive, her pendant. I felt her anklet; and fastened her
Necklace. She stroked my arm; and spoke softly. Our cinema,
A rustic sketch; and our future, a fair goodbye.
