Sleepy Eyes

While the rest of the world sleeps

I am up and on a journey to where..

As the birds sleep, the crickets chirp

All I see around me are sleepy eyes

Restless bodies yearning for a warm bed

We are a species of another kind

Churches on every corner, but broken hearts everywhere

Abandoned buildings are my scenery

As we enter a mini hell called "Camden"

Thank you so much Tony for that response. Actually that line is one of my favorites as well as I noticed we passed by so many churches but everyone seemed so withdrawn. Have a wonderful day!! xoxox
