Smile to My Face

I always felt safe
Never knew why
No thought was given
To the reason why
Having just a child's mind

But you knew Lord
You knew
What would bring a smile to my face
Smile to my face

That's why I'd sing you a song
And tears would go away
Singing my made up songs
Singing to Jesus
Yeah, he was there to calm the storm

You knew Lord, You knew
What would bring a smile to my face
Smile to my face

The world is wild and crazy
Crazier these days
But Jesus is the same
I'm still singing to Him today
Smiling, singing to Him today

Hang on tight
Do what's right
Fight the good fight
And you will be alright

He knows, He knows
He will wipe your tears away
He knows what will bring a smile to your face
A smile to your face..

Hi Terry,

As promised, here is my poetic comment on your lovely poem.

Jesus loves me, this I know
For He's often told me so
Throughout my life He's sent His love
From the Holy Heavens so far above

Peace and Love,
Larry xxx
