Smoke and Silence

It only took minutes

For the world to stop turning 

And time to never exist again

The world became desolate 

No life would be seen again

Nothing even existed anymore

No summers at the beach, with the fresh ocean breeze

Or spring with beautiful flowers, and smell of fresh soil

No fall with the warm breeze, or the scent of pumpkin pie

Nor winter with snowfalls, with children building snowmen

Because it only took minutes 

For the world to stop turning

And time to never exist again

All that was left was;
