Smoke Lovers

Smoke Lovers

Whisper white in Howling Night, kisses that burn on bonfire nights
masks and music, whisky and song
and a girl who knows where my heart belongs, short hair strings that tug my heart strings, kisses known to make your ears ring, pouty lips that taste so sweet, a beauty that pumps up the heat, her  thief in the night may have stolen my heart but her bookworm mornings showed kindness and art, this girl who’s love is oh so strong.
My heart with her, it’s where it belongs
