I used to dream of you.
you were so beautiful to me.
I needed above all 
else to be close to you.
To feel your soft hair 
and smooth skin.
To be burned by your
heated passion as we kissed.
Just to be close to you.
Now we have been together
for a long time my love.
And you have taught me well
about closeness and distance.
I understand it now.
Distance apart does not matter.
We are just like the stars 
above that  look so close
to each other
in the night sky.
Yet they are
millions of miles apart.
